Warner Bros. will look to be a heavy-hitter at the box office in 2020 with a number of releases on the horizon. Warner Bros. will look to match and exceed the success from their 2019 titles. Following the release of Aquaman as the closeout to the 2018 box office, Warner Bros. released The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part to kick off their list of anticipated titles. 2019 also saw the release of big titles such as Shazam!, Detective Pikachu, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, It Chapter Two, and Doctor Sleep. Of course, the company also had its hand in releasing Joker, the film which recently acquired the most nominations at this year’s Oscars.

The Scooby-Doo film franchise is getting the reboot treatment with the arrival of SCOOB!, a new animated movie directed by Tony Cervone that ended up releasing straight to video on demand, thanks to the Coronavirus. The planet is the source of a drug that extends human life and provides superhuman powers. The large ensemble cast also includes Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, David Dastmalchian, Jason Momoa, and Javier Bardem.
